so basically i emailed my professor about three days ago because i have a wednesday class at 8am which we hand in homeworks every week. basically the policy is you're allowed to miss 2 out of 10 so you have to complete 8/10. i already had missed 3 homeworks before last week, but then i got sick and i missed the past 2 classes. i emailed my professor and was like listen i have mono i can get you the notes, i have the homeworks can i just email them to you there's no way i can get to class at 8am with mono. he said no :( so now i'm not sure if im going to fail out of the class or not, and i'm really mad because there's literally like 2 weeks left and i completely blew it. i feel so fucking dumb. :-(
so this isn't completely pointless post cute / funny things to cheer me up

Okay, I need homework help again. :-[
I'm doing a paper on affirmative action, and the court ruling I'm reading keeps mentioning "the narrowly tailored use of race in selecting applicants for admission to universities." So my question is, how exactly do you "narrowly tailor" that? What does "narrowly tailored" even mean?

should i write my paper for theater?
i'm pretty sure i'm going to fail anyway (i missed a test because i had to goto orientation for my job) but i'm not sure if i should give up. i've been doing all the work for the class since to try and make up for it but i don't think it's enough. i just spent two days without sleep working on a project for the class and now I have an 8 page paper due tomorrow and i'm not sure if i'm just wasting my time and losing sleep for no reason.
if this doesn't make sense, i apologize. i'm still tired from being up for two days.

TO TWILIGHT FANS...
What is it that you specifically like about the book? I haven't read it yet (or seen the movie, for that matter), but I've got it reserved at the library and I'm waiting for it to come in. I'm really curious to know what has everyone so passionate about this story and I think it'd be interesting to see how it has affected different people, since it's amazingly captured such a large audience. And on the flip side, what don't you like about it?
